BUTTONWILLOW, California (November 17, 2014) – A motorcyclist was killed Monday morning in a collision with the driver of a pickup truck on State Route Highway 58 at Wasco Way, just west of Bakersfield, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 5:37 a.m., CHP officers say the rider of a red 1997 Kawasaki motorcycle died at the scene of a crash with the driver of a green 1995 Mitsubishi pickup truck. There were no further details provided about the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
