BYRON: Car and Truck Accident on Byron Highway Near Bruns Road

At Least 1 Airlifted After Traffic Collision on Byron Highway Thursday

Byron, CA (April 1, 2021) – One person suffered serious injuries following a car and truck accident on Byron Highway early Thursday.

According to East County Today, a semi truck and a smaller vehicle collided near Bruns Road in Byron. The force from the impact resulted in heavy damage to the roof of the passenger vehicle.

Rescue teams arrived at the site shortly after 3:35 a.m. Units from the San Joaquin County reportedly checked the wreckage for possible people trapped.

Our sources mentioned a CHP helicopter landed in the area and transported at least one victim to a local hospital. The name of the patient, and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.
