6 Injured in Byron Accident at Camino Diablo and McCabe Drive
BYRON, Contra Costa County (April 1, 2018) – Several people were injured after two cars collided at the intersection of Camino Diablo and McCabe Drive Friday evening.
According to the East Bay Times, a Lexus SUV and a Ford Fusion broadsided each other in the area at approximately 8:16 p.m.
Primary reports indicated that the Lexus had four occupants, while the Ford had two occupants at the time of the crash.

Officials said all six parties involved were injured as a result of the collision. One patient was reportedly flown to John Muir Trauma Center with a head injury. The five other patients were transported by ground ambulances in unknown condition.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate how and why the two vehicles crashed. Liabilities in the accident will be determined once the investigation process is over.
