2 Killed in Collision Near Main Street
Cabazon, CA (November 19, 2022) – Two people suffered fatal injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway, the KESQ News reported.
Officials said a semi truck and a Lexus ES 350 collided in the westbound side of the highway near Main Street Saturday morning. According to the article published online, the Lexus was driving within the construction zone. For reasons still unclear, the car crashed into the back of a tank trailer.
Deadly Car Crash on Interstate 10 in Cabazon
Shortly after 1:39 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. First responders immediately attended to the driver and passenger in the Lexus. Sadly, both parties sadly succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene. The names of the fatal victims remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the driver of the truck appeared unharmed after the incident.
Detectives handling the case stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the deadly crash happened on Interstate 10 in Cabazon.
