CACTUS CITY, California (March 18, 2016) — At least one person died Thursday afternoon in a roller crash on the westbound Interstate 10 Freeway, just east of Cactus City and Mile Marker 73, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The Riverside County car crash was reported about 1 p.m. The CHP was notified of a vehicle that flipped over the bridge and a person was trapped inside. A SigAlert was issued and the coroner was sent to the scene where the person was pronounced dead. It’s unclear if there were any others involved or injured in the crash.
