1 Ejected, Both Patients Airlifted to a Hospital
CACTUS CITY, RIVERSIDE COUNTY (March 30, 2016) – Two people were hospitalized following a 2-car crash on eastbound 10 Freeway Tuesday morning, according to KESQ News.
The accident happened at around 10:51 a.m.
Preliminary report has identified the involved motorists as 71-year-old Marina Aldana, of Arizona, driving a 1999 Pontiac Gran Prix. And 24-year-old Cameron Curry, of San Manuel, driving a 2007 Dodge Charger.
Based from the gathered witness statements, the incident was set into motion by Aldana, as mentioned in the article.
Aldana was traveling on the westbound of the freeway when he suddenly veered off his lane to the left side, across the center divider, and into the eastbound lanes.
The event cased Aldana to struck against the left rear part of Curry’s vehicle who was cruising on the eastbound.
The force from the smash resulted in two individuals sustaining injuries.
One was a 31-year-old female seated on the front passenger side of the Dodge. She ejected upon impact and suffered in moderate trauma.
Another hurt party was the motorist Curry who sustained unspecific minor wounded.
Both patients were airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center for confined treatment.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was provided on the condition of Aldana.
The KESQ News published that authorities do not believed drugs and alcohol contributed to the accident.
