Cahleigh Martin Injured in Paso Robles Crash
PASO ROBLES, Calif. (October 28, 2020) – Cahleigh Martin, 22, of Templeton, was hurt Monday night in a deadly multi-vehicle collision on Highway 101 in Paso Robles.
The collision was reported at 6:52 p.m. on Monday, October 26th at the State Route 46 West off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Martin was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck southbound at freeway speed on Highway 101. She was traveling in the right lane when she noticed the lane was closed ahead of her. She looked back to see if it was clear to change lanes before she moved to the inner lane. Once she changed lanes, she noticed traffic was slowed down ahead of her. That’s when she crashed into the back of a 2018 GMC Terrain. The GMC was stopped due to a traffic slowdown in the southbound lane.
Upon impact, the GMC was pushed forward into a 2001 Avalon and that car struck a stopped 2016 Chevrolet.
