While Marshall’s vehicle left the road, Deloye’s Jetta also struck the Ford Fusion driven by Matthew Swoyer, 25, of Fairfield.
Accompanying Marshall was a 32-year-old adult female passenger, a 7-month infant, and three kids ages 1, 3, and 5.

Folsom Personal Injury Car Accident Attorney
Based on the information provided in the report, the driver of the Jetta, Ryan Deloye, will likely be held liable for the collision. A thorough investigation will ensue, however, as photos that were taken of the scene and compiled evidence will help investigators determine the ultimate cause of the collision. Police officials will examine all potential factors including speed, the possible involvement of alcohol or drugs, or whether or not there were any mechanical issues with either vehicle. The investigation will also consist of looking at measurements of evidence left by the vehicles such as point of impact, final resting positions of each vehicle, skid marks, and gouge marks.
In such cases where negligence or wrongdoing may have been a factor, the family of the baby, as well as Caitlin Marshall, her passenger, and the three injured kids will have the right to a wrongful death lawsuit and personal injury lawyer against the motorist, Ryan Deloye. Victims may seek compensation for damages including medical expenses, funeral costs, lost future income, and loss of love and companionship.
