Vehicle Overturned in Accident on US 101 Freeway
CALABASAS, Calif. (June 12, 2024) — A two-vehicle car accident happened in Calabasas Wednesday morning on the Ventura 101 Freeway at Las Virgenes Road, in Los Angeles County.
The traffic accident occurred on the eastbound US 101 at around 10:54 AM on Wednesday June 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A blue Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV and an unknown vehicle collided into one another. This collision left the Trailblazer overturned in the middle lane of the roadway. The driver of the overturned vehicle was out of the vehicle and was walking around. The person responsible for the crash was reported to not have any vehicle information about their vehicle. The blue Chevrolet Trailblazer was also reported to have damage due to being overturned.
Paramedics arrived on the scene and transported those injured to a nearby hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. In addition, tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles off of the roadway to restore traffic.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on the Ventura 101 Freeway at Las Virgenes Road, in Calabasas California.
