Bus Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Parkway Calabasas
Calabasas, CA (July 15, 2022) – A woman died following a pedestrian accident that occurred Friday evening on the Interstate 101, also known as Ventura Freeway.
According to KTLA and My News LA, an unidentified female was driving an SUV heading north on Ventura Freeway. For reasons still unclear, the SUV stalled in the northbound lanes of the highway just north of Parkway Calabasas.
Earlier reports indicated the driver stepped out of the stalled SUV. While in the roadway, an oncoming bus struck the woman. The accident took place at about 7:39 a.m.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Ventura (101) Freeway in Calabasas
The article published online confirmed the female party sadly died in the collision. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the catastrophic incident have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate liability in the deadly crash that happened on Ventura (101) Freeway in Calabasas.
