Rider Airlifted to Hospital After Collision Near Lime Creek Road
Calaveras County, CA (April 10, 2022) – A motorcyclist suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 12.

On April 8, My Motherlode published an article online reporting a crash between a motorcycle rider and another vehicle of unknown make and model. The collision took place in the Valley Springs area of Calaveras County.
Emergency crews responded to the accident scene shortly after 2 p.m. Paramedics checked the conditions of all parties found in front of the Kwik Serve Gas Station near the Lime Creek Road intersection. After the evaluation, authorities requested a helicopter to transfer the injured motorcyclist to a hospital. The patient received treatment for major trauma sustained in the wreck. Pending confiramtion, the name of the patient and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the other motorist involved in the crash.
Investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the collision on Highway 12 in Calaveras County.
