CALEXICO, California (May 23, 2014) –A motorcyclist was killed Friday morning in a crash with a semi-tractor trailer truck at the intersection of Carr and Rood roads in Imperial County, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch report.
About 8:14 a.m., CHP officers and paramedics responded to the 2-vehicle crash and assisted an injured motorcycle rider by administering CPR. Paramedics responded with an ambulance, but it appears the rider may have died at the scene of the crash.
Calexico Tow reported to the scene to remove the damaged motorcycle.
