2 Killed in Aircraft Accident Near Garlock Road and Highway 395 Friday
California City, CA (November 12, 2021) – Two people died following a plane crash that occurred Friday afternoon near Garlock Road.
According to KGET News, a two-seater aircraft plunged down in an area a half mile north of Garlock Road; and west of Highway 395in California City. Additional description on the plane involved in the unfortunate event remained undisclosed.
Rescue teams arrived at the site shortly after 2:15 p.m. The article published online mentioned the Kern County battalion chief and other personnel responded to the accident.

The Kern County Fire officials later pronounced two people dead as a result of the incident. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identities of the deceased parties remained undisclosed.
At this time, the Bureau of Land Management and NTSB are the agencies handling the investigation. Detectives continue to work to determine the precise cause of the fatal plane crash near Garlock Road in California City.
