Major Injury Collision on Interstate 10 Freeway Monday
Calimesa, CA (May 10, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a big rig truck accident on Interstate 10, also known as Christopher Columbus Highway, Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a semi truck overturned for in the eastbound side of I-10. The big rig eventually came to a rest on the right-hand shoulder of the highway at Cherry Valley Boulevard.
At Least 1 Badly Hurt After Car Accident in Calimesa, May 10
Emergency teams responded to the accident scene shortly after 4:10 p.m. Our sources later confirmed at least one person sustained major injuries as a result of the crash. The CHP log mentioned an ambulance later arrived at the site, and transported the patient to the hospital.
Additional details on the truck collision have not been revealed thus far. At this time, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the big rig accident in Calimesa.
