At Least 1 Killed in Collision Near Singleton Road Thursday
Calimesa, CA (December 23, 2021) – A fatal car crash occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway Thursday evening, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Earlier reports indicated a pickup truck drifted off the traffic lanes while heading east on the freeway. The catastrophic incident took place near Singleton Road in Calimesa.
Shortly after 9:10 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found several other automobiles stopped along I-10, and possibly involved in the wreck.
Medical personnel found at least one person unconscious. Despite life-saving measures, the victim succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Additional details on the horrible crash have not been discussed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the deadly car crash on Interstate 10 in Calimesa happened.
