At Least 1 Killed in Traffic Collision on Highway 29 Tuesday
Calistoga, CA (June 8, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a fatal car crash that occurred on State Route 29 Tuesday afternoon.
Initial records indicated a blue Ford Flex careened off the highway for an unknown reason. Officials said the Ford continued driving away from traffic, and came to a rest after smashing against a tree. The accident took place near Diamond Mountain Road in Calistoga.
Shortly after 5 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. They found the Ford with major front-end damage.

The CHP dispatch confirmed the Ford was occupied by four parties at the time of the collision. Paramedics said at least one person sustained fatal injuries as a result of the wreck. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the deadly car crash in Calistoga happened.
