CALISTOGA: Sophie Bennett Injured in Head-on Crash on Highway 29

sophie bennett calistoga car accident highway 29CALISTOGA (July 25, 2016)- According to the Napa Valley Register, a head-on collision injured a woman Saturday afternoon on Highway 29.

the incident which involved two vehicles occurred at precisely 2:45 p.m.

The driver of a pickup truck identified as Andrew Benson, 17, of Middletown, for unknown reasons, lost control and crashed head-on with Hans Selk, 37, of Oregon.

The article confirmed that neither Benson nor Selk were injured, however, a passenger inside Helk’s vehicle identified as Sophie Bennett, also of Oregon, was injured and transported to St. Helena Hospital.

Police officials confirmed that Benson will be held at fault for traveling at excessive speeds and crossing into oncoming traffic.
