Calvin Williams Killed in Motorcycle Crash on First Street in Santa Ana
SANTA ANA, Calif. (July 15, 2026) — Calvin Williams, 43, of Costa Mesa, died Tuesday morning in Santa Ana following a motorcycle accident at First Street and Center Street.
The deadly, two-vehicle collision occurred just after 7 a.m. on July 14th, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
Police arrived on scene and located the victim with major upper-body trauma, however, despite efforts to save his life he died on scene.
Detectives working on the case determined the Costa Mesa man was riding his motorcycle eastbound on First Street. Meanwhile, another driver in car was traveling alongside him when they changed lanes and collided with the motorcyclist.
The impact caused Williams to be thrown off his bike and into the roadway where he was severely injured.
The investigation into what happened is ongoing, but the other driver is cooperating with detectives. Police do not suspect drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash at this time.
