1 Injured in Camarillo Crash at Lewis Road and University Drive
CAMARILLO, CA (April 14, 2021) – A car crash injured at least one person at Lewis Road and University Drive in Camarillo.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on April 13 shortly before 5 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of South Lewis Road and University Drive in Camarillo.
2 Cars Collide in Camarillo Tuesday
The report described the cars involved as a white Dodge Caliber and a black Ford truck. The Dodge sustained damage to its left side upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found one individual who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the patient for the minor injuries they sustained in the wreck. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, officials forced the intersection to close following the collision. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Camarillo crash.
