1 Seriously Injured in Camarillo Crash at Las Posas and Hueneme Roads
CAMARILLO, CA (November 11, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Las Posas Road and Hueneme Road in Camarillo.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Thursday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 6:25 a.m.
CHP determined that two vehicles collided in the city of Camarillo. They crashed for an unknown reason at the intersection of Las Posas and Hueneme roads.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a gray Toyota Scion and possibly a pickup truck. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the California State University Channel Islands.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to the St. John’s Hospital Camarillo for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Las Posas and Hueneme roads to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Camarillo crash is still under investigation.
