Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man Near Camino Alvarez
Camarillo, CA (July 23, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries following an accident that occurred on Lewis Road later Friday night.
According to Ventura County Star News, a male party attempted to walk eastbound across Lewis into the southbound lane. While in the middle of the roadway, a passing vehicle struck the pedestrian. The horrible crash took place just south of Camino Alvarez.

Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 11:35 p.m. The article published online mentioned first responders found the victim suffering in serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
