Victim Identified as Steven Solinger of Camarillo
CAMARILLO (March 30, 2016)- According to KVTA News, a deadly pedestrian versus vehicle collision was reported Sunday evening, March 27th, at the itnersection of Rocklyn and Arneill Road.
KVTA News reports the collision to have taken place at roughly 10:08 p.m. when a man identified as Steven Solinger, 46, of Camarillo, was crossing the intersection heading eastbound on Arneill.
As Solinger crossed the road he was suddenly struck by a northbound vehicle.
The 46-year-old Camarillo man did not survive his injuries and was declared to have been deceased at the scene upon the arrival of paramedics.
Per KVTA News, the driver of the vehicle that struck the victim did stop and was cooperative with authorities following the incident.
Liability remains unclear at this time.
