Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Camarillo Crash at Lewis Road and Temple Avenue
CAMARILLO, CA (June 5, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after an accident at Lewis Road and Temple Avenue in Camarillo.
The KEYT News wrote that the incident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the crash at around 4:28 a.m.
The incident happened when a silver Kia sedan was going north on Lewis Road in Camarillo. For an unknown reason, the car struck a male pedestrian at the intersection with Temple Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found the 29-year-old man in the roadway and ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release his name and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the Kia stopped and stayed at the crash site after hitting the man. Officers forced the area of Lewis and Temple to shut down following the accident.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Camarillo pedestrian collision.
