Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash at Green Valley and Cameron Park
EL DORADO COUNTY, CA (April 18, 2023) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Green Valley Road and Cameron Park Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on April 18 at about 1:16 p.m.
The incident happened when the motorcycle rider and a blue colored vehicle collided for an unknown reason in the Cameron Park area of El Dorado County.
CHP said the two crashed at the intersection of Green Valley Road and Cameron Park Drive, near the Valero Gas Station.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist down on the ground. The patient sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the victim and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers added that the other driver pulled into the gas station following the wreck. CHP forced the corner of Green Valley and Cameron Park to shut down after the crash.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
