Cameron Sabatino, 17, Killed After Crash in Oroville at Wyandotte Avenue and V6 Road
OROVILLE, California (May 6, 2016) – A 2-car crash at Wyandotte Avenue and V6 Road resulted in the death of 17-year-old Cameron Sabatino and hospitalization of student Lance Anderson, according to KRCRTV.
The accident happened during the lunch time of April 29.
Preliminary report stated that two cars were traveling on their respective lane ways when they suddenly collided.
The force from the impact resulted in the death of Sabatino, a point guard for the Las Plumas varsity basketball team.
Anderson, who was occupying the similar vehicle as Sabatino, sustained severe innjuries and was listed in critical condition.
The driver carrying the two Las Plumas students was also wounded from the wreck. He was transported to Oroville Hospital.
No immediate information was provided on the occupants from the other involved vehicle.
Investigators assigned to handle the case continue to gather more evidences before pronouncing closure and citations.
