Major Injury Collision on El Dorado (50) Freeway Saturday
Camino, CA (September 11, 2021) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a car accident that occurred on US-50, also known as El Dorado Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a solo-vehicle crashed for an unknown reason while traveling west on the freeway. Our sources indicated the collision took place near the Carson Road offramp Saturday afternoon.

Shortly after 12:10 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the crash site. First responders found one person with major trauma. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim, then transferred them to a hospital for further treatment and evaluation. The name of the patient and their condition at this time remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the incident have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the car accident in Camino.
