CHP Reports a Crash on State Route 17 in Campbell
CAMPBELL, Calif. (Dec. 5, 2024) –A multi-vehicle car accident happened Thursday on northbound Highway 17 at the Hamilton Avenue off-ramp in Campbell.
The crash occurred in the middle lanes around 3:04 p.m. on Dec. 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Six vehicles were involved including a silver Toyota RAV4 SUV, a maroon Subaru SUV, a dark-colored sedan, and several others, scattered across traffic lanes. The Subaru spun around during the collision.
An elderly woman from one of the vehicles became trapped, but it’s unknown if she was hurt.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with minor injuries who was in one of the SUVs.
Tow trucks removed at least three of the vehicles with major all-around damage.
