Motorcyclist Injured in Campbell Crash on Northbound Highway 17 Thursday
CAMPBELL (August 24, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured after a traffic collision along Highway 17 Thursday morning.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch said the accident was reported on August 22 at approximately 7:55 a.m. near the Hamilton Avenue on-ramp.
According to the report log, a motorcycle and a Jeep Liberty collided for an unknown reason on the northbound side of Highway 17.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the rider down in the No. 1 lane while the bike ended up in the center divider as a result of the crash.
The motorcyclist was given initial treatment for minor injuries sustained in the wreck. It was not specified if the patient, whose name was not disclosed, was hospitalized for further aid.
Meanwhile, the roadway was reopened half an hour later after the Nos 1 and 2 lanes were briefly closed. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
