5 Hurt in Canoga Park Accident on Owensmouth Ave
CANOGA PARK, Calif. (Oct. 9, 2018) — Five people were injured in a collision involving three motorists at 8000 N. Owensmouth Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The crash was reported at 7:54 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
A physical rescue took place as one person was trapped in a vehicle.
The injured were taken by ambulances to hospitals for treatment of undisclosed injuries. Meanwhile, police arrested one of the drivers on DUI charges. Edwin Velez, 23, is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol.
