Ryder Rental Truck Involved in Collision
CANYON, CONTRA COSTA COUNTY (September 28, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2-vehicle collision was reported this morning on Pinehurst Road about a mile south of Canyon Road.
Authorities were notified of the incident which took place at precisely 8:47 a.m. between a Nissan and an alleged Ryder rental truck.
Driver in Nissan Trapped Inside Vehicle
Following the accident, the driver inside the Nissan was confirmed to have been injured and trapped inside of the vehicle.
A registered nurse, fortunately, witnessed the collision take place and was able to stop, pull over, and aid the victim until paramedics arrived.
That individual was eventually transported to a hospital for further assessment, per CHP officials.
No details were provided in regards to the cause of the crash and the sequence of events that took place.
