Canyon Country: Car Crash on 14 Freeway Near Soledad CanyonAt Least 2 Hospitalized After Collision on 14 Freeway Saturday

Canyon Country, CA (August 28, 2021) – A car crash that occurred Saturday evening on 14 Freeway resulted in injuries, the KHTS News reported.

Preliminary investigation revealed the wreck involved as many as three vehicles. Per article published online, a white car swerved into another lane and triggered the collision. The driver who caused the accident struck two other automobiles. Due to the force from the impact, the two vehicles overturned and landed on their side on the freeway.

Shortly after 7 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found one passenger with their leg pinned in the wreckage. Officials added a second person was found unconscious and also trapped in the disabled car.

Firefighters worked extensively to extricate the victims. After pulling out the two parties, paramedics rushed them to hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Meanwhile, police reportedly detained one driver involved in the accident. The charges against the suspect remained unclear at this time.
