1 Killed in Canyon Country Crash near Soledad Canyon and Shangri-La
SANTA CLARITA, CA (July 22, 2022) – A crash killed at least one person near Soledad Canyon Road and Shangri-La Drive in Canyon Country.
According to an article published by The Signal, the tragic accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:34 p.m.
The incident happened when multiple vehicles collided in the Canyon Country neighborhood. For an unknown reason, they crashed near the intersection of Soledad Canyon Road and Shangri La Drive.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Sierra Highway. They confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased victim has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. The report did not mention if any other party ended up hurt following the wreck.
Meanwhile, officers forced Soledad Canyon Road to shut down in both directions from Shangri-La to Sierra following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Canyon Country crash is still under investigation.
