2 Injured in Crash at Canyon Lake Drive North and Sloop Drive
CANYON LAKE, CA (April 16, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash at Canyon Lake Drive North and Sloop Drive in Canyon Lake.
The Riverside County Fire Department received a call about the accident on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 7 p.m.
According to Cal Fire, three vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of Canyon Lake Drive North and Sloop Drive.
Multi-Car Collision in Canyon Lake
One of the cars involved rolled onto its side upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and then extricated one trapped person from the wreckage.
A total of two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. One patient sustained major injuries while the other suffered minor injuries.
Medical personnel took them to an area hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the road to shut down following the crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the collision.
