Car Accident 405 Freeway at MacArthur Boulevard Near John Wayne Airport

SUV, Pickup Crash on I-405 in Santa Ana

SANTA ANA, Calif. (Nov. 2, 2023) — A two-vehicle car accident happened Thursday morning on the northbound Interstate 405 Freeway near John Wayne Airport.

The traffic accident occurred at around 8:14 a.m. on Nov. 2nd at MacArthur Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The drivers of a red Nissan Pathfinder SUV and a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck were involved, police said.

The Orange County Fire Authority responded with paramedics to help anyone hurt in the collision, but there are no further details at this time.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on the 405 Freeway near the airport.
