2-Vehicle Collision on State Route 60
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (July 28, 2023) — A minor-injury car accident on the eastbound 60 Freeway happened Friday morning, just west of Country Village Road in Jurupa Valley.
The Riverside County collision occurred around 8:15 a.m. on July 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
CHP officials reported a driver was swerving all over the roadway before it collided with a second motorist. The vehicles involved were a black Toyota Tundra pickup truck and a black Tesla SUV, the report said.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with minor injuries from the collision.
The Toyota pickup truck sustained damage and was towed from the roadway, but it’s unknown if both vehicles were towed.
Investigators are working on the case to determine liability for the accident on the 60 Freeway in Jurupa Valley.
