Car Accident at Bell Street and Auburn Boulevard in Arden Arcade

SACRAMENTO, Calif., (August 18, 2026) — A car accident involving two vehicles resulted in minor injuries Tuesday afternoon near Auburn Boulevard and Bell Street in the Arden-Arcade area of North Sacramento.

The collision, reported on Aug. 18th around 12:55 PM, involved a red and white Ford colliding with a gray Toyota Camry. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision was initially reported as requiring an emergency medical response; however, it was later updated to a minor-injury classification.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene, with units arriving shortly after 1:00 PM. The Sacramento Police Department was notified, but per their updated policy, they will only respond to traffic collisions involving major injuries. Thus, parties involved in this incident were advised to file reports online unless significant harm was assessed.

One of the vehicles reportedly had front-end damage and requested a tow truck, but then it was canceled.
