FRESNO, Calif. (June 6, 2023) — A two-vehicle car accident happened Tuesday morning at West Belmont Avenue and North Hayes Avenue in Pratton, just west of Fresno.
The collision occurred around 8:09 a.m. on June 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a red Dodge Charger and a grey Toyota van were involved. The vehicles both wound up off the roadway, but there was a lot of debris blocking traffic lanes, the report said.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision, but both vehicles had major front-end damage indicating it was likely a head-on crash.
Paramedics responded to help anyone injured in the accident, but there are no further details at this time.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the car accident on Belmont Avenue.
