2-Vehicle Crash on Deer Valley Road
BRENTWOOD, Calif. (Sept. 15, 2023) — A two-vehicle car accident on Deer Valley Road happened Friday morning, just north of Empire Mine Road and west of Brentwood.
The collision occurred around 8:39 a.m. on Sept. 15th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a male was “pulled out of the roadway” and one person was transported to Kaiser Antioch with undisclosed injuries.
The drivers of a white Honda SUV and a red Ford Expedition SUV were involved. There may have also been a third vehicle caught up in the collision.
It’s unknown what led to the accident, but CHP dispatch operators stated the Honda went off an embankment roughly 10 feet from the roadway.
Tow trucks removed the Honda and Ford from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
