2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 in Gaviota
Santa Barbara County, Calif. (Dec. 2, 2022) — A two-vehicle crash happened Friday morning on Highway 101, just north of the Gaviota Rest Area in Santa Barbara County.
The collision occurred about 5:55 a.m. on Dec. 2nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a yellow sedan and a silver sedan are involved in the wreck. One of the vehicles overturned onto its roof during the collision and one had front-end damage.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the collision, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, Tow trucks removed both of the from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash.
