2-Vehicle Collision on State Route 70 in Palermo

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. (Feb. 14, 2025) — A two-vehicle car accident happened Friday afternoon on Highway 70 at Palermo Road in the Palermo area of Butte County.

The traffic accident occurred at around 2:13 p.m. on Feb. 14, 2025, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a white sedan and a blue sedan collided due to unknown circumstances. The blue sedan overturned onto its passenger side.

The Butte County Fire Department responded to help those who were injured in the crash.

Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles and investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Highway 70 in Palermo.
