Car Accident Interstate 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga

Traffic Accident on I-210 at Haven Avenue

RANCHO CUCAMONGA,  Calif. (August 30, 2023) —  A car accident involving at least two vehicles happened on the Interstate 210 Freeway on Wednesday morning in Rancho Cucamonga.

The collision occurred on the eastbound 210 Freeway about 8:32 a.m. on August 30th, just west of Haven Avenue, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch. Someone called 911 to report a motorist was driving recklessly prior to the collision.

A driver in a gold or beige Toyota Corolla or similar vehicle was allegedly swerving in the HOV lane prior to the crash. A witness told dispatch operators there were also flames underneath the vehicle. The car collided with at least one other motorist.

Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash, but there are no further details.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles from the freeway.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
