5-Vehicle Crash on I-580 Freeway in Livermore
LIVERMORE, Calif. (April 28, 2023) — A car accident involving five vehicles happened Friday on the Interstate 580 Freeway, just east of the North Livermore Avenue off ramp.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred around 8:03 a.m. on April 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a grey Kia SUV, a black Chevrolet Silverado 2500 pickup truck, a PT Cruiser, a grey SUV and a dark blue Ford truck were involved.
The vehicles were blocking the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes of the westbound I-580, police said.
Paramedics responded to help those who suffered minor injuries in the collision, but there are no further details.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Interstate 580 Freeway car accident.
