Car Accident Interstate 680 Freeway, Pleasanton Sunol Road

SUNOL, Calif. (June 6, 2023) — A car accident on the southbound Interstate 680 Freeway happened Tuesday near the Pleasanton Sunol Road off ramp.

The 3-vehicle crash occurred around 7:29 a.m. on June 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a brown Toyota Camry, a black Chevrolet Silverado and a white Tesla were involved. The vehicles collided in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway near the off ramp.

Paramedics responded to help those injured in the collision, but there were no specific details at the time of this report.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the Chevrolet and the Toyota from the roadway.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Sunol crash on the Interstate 680 Freeway.
