2 Pickup Trucks Crash in Front of Esperanza Fire Station
Calaveras County, Calif. (Sept. 26, 2023) — A car accident happened Tuesday afternoon on Mountain Ranch Road at Sheep Ranch Road in Calaveras County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 12:44 p.m. on Sept. 26th, in front of the CAL FIRE Esperanza Station in Mountain House, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck collided head-on at the intersection, the CHP report said. The horns of both vehicles were honking after the collision, according to the 911 caller. Both vehicles sustained major front-end damage in the collision.
Paramedics and firefighters responded to help at least one person with minor injuries, but there are no further details at press time.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the roadway and investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
