Crash on Nebraska Avenue, Walnut Ave Near Caruthers
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (June 28, 2021) — A car accident at Nebraska Avenue and Walnut Avenue Monday morning resulted in injuries.
The collision happened about 9:48 a.m. on June 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two grey compact cars crashed and wound up in a nearby almond orchard, police said.
The vehicles collided with trees and at least one person became trapped in their vehicle.
Injury Accident at Nebraska and Walnut Avenues
Cal Fire responded to the car accident on Nebraska Avenue and located one person whose face was bleeding. They extricated those who were trapped and transported the injured to a local hospital.
There were no further details provided in the CHP report.
Two tow trucks removed damaged vehicles from the orchard.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the Nebraska Avenue car accident as well as liability.
