Major Injuries in Collision in Sacramento County
RIO LINDA, Calif. (May 22, 2024) — A two-vehicle car accident happened Wednesday afternoon on 16th Street in Rio Linda in Sacramento County.
The traffic accident occurred at around 1:56 p.m. on May 22nd, 2024, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Honda Accord and an unknown vehicle collided on the Rio Linda roadway in Sacramento County. The vehicles ended up on the right side of the road but the aftermath of the collision caused a major traffic hazard across the road.
CHP reported major injurues in this collision. Paramedics arrived on the scene and transported those with injuries to nearby hospital for treatment. Tow trucks were also requested on the scene to help remove the traffic hazard from the road.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the car accident in Rio Linda, in Sacramento County.
