2 Injured in Traffic Collision on Apple Valley Road Near Chicory Court Thursday
Apple Valley, CA (July 8, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Apple Valley Road Thursday afternoon, the Victor Valley News Group reported.
Our sources indicated the wreck involved a gray Dodge Ram lost control. For an unknown reason, the driver of the pickup truck crashed through the center landscaped median along Apple Valley Road. The Dodge continued driving and came to a rest after slamming into a large tree near a block wall.
Patients Airlifted to Hospital After Car Accident in Sun City, July 8
The collision happened near Chicory Court in the community of Sun City.
Shortly before 2 p.m., firefighters from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District requested a helicopter to land in the roadway near the scene. The article published online indicated the Mercy Air 22 transported two patients to Arrowhead Region Medical Center. At this time, the names of the injured parties and the extent of their injuries remained undisclosed.
Additional details on the wreck have not been discussed thus far. Given that, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the major car accident in Apple Valley.
