2 Hospitalized After Collision Near De Anza Cove Sunday
San Diego, CA (October 3, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Clairemont Drive Ramp near De Anza Cove, the ABC10 News reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle crashed for an unknown reason on Clairemont Drive Ramp at North Mission Bay Drive. The collision took place Sunday at about 4 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found at least one person trapped in the wreckage; and another party outside the car. Firefighters at the scene worked extensively to free the victim. After the successful extrication process, paramedics rendered aid to the two people.

Authorities said medical personnel decided to transfer the two patients to Scripps Memorial Hospital for further treatment and evaluation. Pending confirmation, the names of the injured parties remained undisclosed.
