
HANFORD, Calif. (Jan. 13, 2023) — A two-vehicle car accident on the Hanford Expressway also known as State Route Highway 198 happened Friday at 6th Avenue.
The collision occurred in a westbound turn lane on SR-198 about 8 a.m. on Jan. 13th, just east of Hanford and Hamblin, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of a silver Honda Accord possibly rear-ended a silver Honda Civic due to unknown circumstances, the report said.
Kings County Fire responded with paramedics to the scene to help those injured in the car accident on the Hanford Expressway.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the two damaged vehicles from the roadway. The Honda Civic had major rear-end damage and the Honda Accord had left-front damage from the crash.
An investigation is underway to determine liability for the collision.
