One Injured in Crash on US 50 in W. Sacramento
WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Sept. 17, 2024) — A car accident involving several vehicles on Highway 50 happened Tuesday, just east of Jefferson Boulevard in West Sacramento.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred around 5:37 a.m. on Sept. 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It happened in the westbound lanes of US 50 after one vehicle allegedly rear-ended another motorist.

The driver of a white Nissan Altima told 911 dispatchers their vehicle was rear-ended. Other vehicles stopped at the scene were a blue Ford Mustang and a white Audi sedan, but it’s unknown which vehicles were involved.
According to the report, paramedics responded and transported one person with minor injuries to Sutter Medical Center.
Meanwhile, there were several lanes blocked by the traffic accident and tow trucks removed them from the highway.
Finally, investigators are working to determine liability for the Highway 50 car accident in West Sacramento.
